9 status jomblo

Jika Anda pernah mengenal istilah Jojoba (jomblo-jomblo bahagia), ternyata dari istilah jomblo alias tidak punya pacar memiliki 9 jenis status jomblo, antara lain :

Jomblo sejati : penganut status ini biasanya murni belum pernah pacaran, belum mengerti soal cinta, karena pikirannya hanya berfokus pada belajar atau karir atau sesuatu di luar cinta, dan bahkan belum pernah menyukai siapapun. Ciri umumnya : berkacamata tebal, penampilan terkadang agak berantakan

Jomblo Biru : biasanya dianut oleh seseorang yang baru resmi putus pacaran, biasanya karena alasan bosan atau lagi kosong. Ciri umumnya : wajah ceria seperti narapidana yang baru bebas, telah menemukan kehidupannya kembali, sering terlihat jalan bersama teman-temannya dan
sebagainya.


Jomblo Hunter : status ini biasanya untuk orang yang sudah menikmati status jomblonya, sering ganti pasangan, jomblo lagi dan hunting pasangan baru lagi. Ciri umumnya memiliki bakat seolah-olah menjadi selebriti, rasa percaya diri tinggi, dan sering tebar pesona.


Jomblo Final : status ini untuk jomblowers yang sudah dekat dengan seseorang dan hampir melepas status jomblonya. Ciri umumnya setiap hari tidak lepas dari cermin, rajin merawat wajah dan tubuh, suka baca ramalan bintang, dan suka tersenyum sendiri ketika baca SMS.


Jomblo minus : status ini untuk yang baru diputusin oleh pasangannya dan berada dalam suasana sedih atau hingga tidak bisa menerima kenyataan akan putus cinta. Ciri umumnya emosional, tidak suka film romantic, dan mood memburuk.



Jomblo Sniper : belum pernah pacaran, namun sudah menyukai seseorang. Sayangnya, belum berani menyatakan cinta kepada orang yang disukainya. Ciri umumnya : kurang percaya diri, sering menyendiri di tempat sepi.


Jomblo Error : belum pernah sukses menjalani pacaran, ketika menyatakan cinta selalu ditolak, dan hampir selalu menyukai seseorang yang sudah memiliki kekasih. Ciri umumnya selalu bersemangat ketika diajak kenalan, dan sudah memburu hasrat untuk bertunangan, menikah dan sebagainya.


Jomblo Impossible : merupakan status untuk seseorang yang tidak mungkin memiliki orang yang disukainya, karena orang yang disukainya adalah artis atau selebriti, pacar konglomerat, istri tetangga, dan sebagainya. Ciri umumnya tampil rapi dan menawan, dan bertingkah seperti layaknya artis.

Jomblo Forever : status ini hanya dikhususkan untuk seseorang yang hanya menunggu dan berharap bisa memiliki pria atau wanita idaman, tanpa usaha yang jelas. Ciri umumnya memiliki poster idola diman-mana dan terlalu terobsesi dengan istilah fans selebriti.

Red Moon rising over Semarang

Got lucky whlie on the Gym, to face this rare natural phenomenon, a blood red moon :). I've only seen this for a few minutes. Run back to the locker, grab my camera and took some pictures, not as red as first seen though.

Good to know

Beberapa tahun yang silam,seorang pemuda terpelajar dari semarang
sedang berpergian naik pesawat ke Jakarta. Disampingnya duduk seorang
ibu yang sudah berumur. Si Pemuda menyapa, dan tak lama mereka
terlarut dalam obrolan ringan.
" Ibu, ada acara apa pergi ke Jakarta ?" tanya si Pemuda.
" Oh... Saya mau ke Jakarta terus "connecting flight" ke Singapore
nengokin anak saya yang ke dua" jawab ibu itu.
" Wouw..... hebat sekali putra ibu" pemuda itu menyahut dan terdiam
sejenak.
" Kalau saya tidak salah ,anak yang di Singapore tadi , putra yang
kedua ya bu?? Bagaimana dengan kakak-adik adik nya??
" Oh ya tentu " si Ibu bercerita :"Anak saya yang ketiga seorang
dokter di Malang, yang keempat Kerja di Perkebunan di Lampung, yang
kelima menjadi arsitek di Jakarta, yang keenam menjadi kepala cabang
bank di Purwokerto, yang ke tujuh menjadi Dosen di Semarang."

" Pemuda tadi diam, hebat ibu ini, bisa mendidik anak anaknya dengan
sangat baik, dari anak kedua sampai ke tujuh.
" terus bagaimana dengan anak pertama ibu ??"
Sambil menghela napas panjang, ibu itu menjawab,
" anak saya yang pertama menjadi petani di Godean Jogja nak". Dia
menggarap sawahnya sendiri yang tidak terlalu lebar nak"

Pemuda itu segera menyahut, "Maaf ya Bu..... kalau ibu agak kecewa ya
dengan anak pertama ibu, adik-adiknya berpendidikan tinggi dan sukses
di pekerjaannya, sedang dia menjadi petani "??

Dengan tersenyum ibu itu menjawab,
" Ooo ...tidak tidak begitu nak....
Justru saya sangat bangga dengan anak pertama saya, karena dialah
yang membiayai sekolah semua adik-adiknya dari hasil dia bertani"

Classical Concert ++

A friend of mine informed me that a classical piano & electronic concert is playing in Semarang. The ticket is 50.0000 rupiah, I say yes and so this Afternoon I went for a Classical Concert ++ by Elwin Hedrijanto at gumaya Tower Hotel. He is a local pianist from Semarang.
Although on the title said it's a classical concert, the ++ part give some room to 'cheat'. It turned out that he's doing some classical-pop-jazz concert, and he's quite entertaining.

The first song is from Schumann, after that the complex Linz rendition of Paganini's Etude. Unfortunatelly I missed the third song (and possibly also the 4th) because suddenly I felt pain, and I had to go to the nearest pharmacist for some painkiller, unfortunatelly the pharmacist doesn't have any water, so I had to walk to a shop on the next block to buy a bottle of water :(.
When I returned, he showed us his work on animation's soundtrack. Which cover A walk of life, where a girl and a dog tries to cross the street, and the dog is hit by a car, because she (I believe it's a bitch) suddenly run away, fortunately the girl manage to 'fix' it. 'Warrior', which I fail to grasp the story, however I think his rendition for the soundtrack is good, and The little thief, done by fourfilm (I think it's a british production) which told a story about a little thief, stole a toy aeroplane. While he's playing with his aeroplane, a couple of crow stole it, and brought it to a (haunted) mansion. He's bravely enter the mansion to find his stolen toy, unfortunately he met with a devil, in a nick of time before his escape he droped his toy, and the gates is magically dissapear. The devil is punishing him by turning him into a toy, and hung him in front of the mansion.


The last part is where he's playing with the genre, first he's playing a piece of Twilight's soundtrack, "The Flightless bird", he continue with his own composition, "Tale on the wind" which tell a story about life, like sailing in the ocean, with it's grandeur, danger, excitement, calm waves, storms. Lastly, he dabble with other composition "RBT (Ring Back tone)" which also a theatrical part, I think he's mocking the current generation obsession with RBT, in part he plays Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours" and Mbah Surip's "Tak Gendong" while pretending to call Agnes Monica :). All in all a fine afternoon performance, which is very rare in Semarang

Ini makanan khas cirebon. Sudah lama banget aku ngga ketemu makanan ini. Benernya cuma tahu, bumbu kecap yg encer sama bawang. Kemarin waktu pulang ternyata mama beli tahu gejrot. Mungkin karena sudah lamaaa banget ga makan jadi kerasa nikmaaaat banget. Tapi menurut mamaku yg jual memang org Cirebon, tahunya dr Ciledug jd rasanya cukup authentic hehehe

Gak boleh foto temen2

Hmm... kemarin sabtu jalan2 ke Yogya, nonton di Empire XXI, sepulang nonton kami bermaksud foto di depannya, eh tau2 ada satpam datang, dan bilang "kalau mau foto ijin sama manajemen dulu". Menurut saya koq aneh ya? mau yg mau difoto aja gak protes, ini ada orang tiba2 muncul nyuruh minta ijin. Karena tidak mau ribut, temen2 bilang dah ga usah foto saja deh. Tapi ini tetep mengganjal saja sih, rasanya aneh banget gitu, karena kejadiannya di luar gedung pula, bukan di dalam gedung. Setahu saya sih yg dilarang foto atau ambil video biasanya di dalam bioskop :P.

Pemilu

Hari ini Pemilu anggota legislatif (DPR, DPD, DPRD I, DPRD II). Tadinya niatan gak nyontreng karena somehow, tempat pemilihan suara (TPS) kali ini bukan yang di depan rumah, agak aneh sih rasanya, karena mesti jalan bbrp gang, padahal di depan rumah sendiri ada TPS juga. Tapi, setelah baca blog dari Ririn & Dedi, akhirnya jalan kaki juga ke sana. Habis menunaikan kewajiban, trus cari makan sama Mama, hmm... di mana2 sepi... rasanya bahkan lebih sepi daripada waktu lebaran. hampir ga ada rumah makan buka. Pada mudik buat ikutan nyontreng kali ya?


Tentang contreng, benernya kata ini asing buat aku, ternyata memang kata ini tidak ada di Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia. Entah siapa yang menciptakan kata ini, karena umumnya yang aku tahu itu centang. Yah, apapunlah, lagipula untuk pemilu kali ini dibebaskan mau dicontreng (centang), di setrip, centang tidak sempurna atau dicoblos masih berlaku hehehe.

Anyway, I've done my part, sekarang semua tergantung pilihan rakyat. Semoga yang pemenang yang terpilih nanti bisa menunaikan tugas dengan benar, yang tidak dipilih juga legawa mengaku kalah, supaya tidak terjadi apa-apa. Beberapa bulan lagi masih ada pemilihan presiden

Pasadon

Yah, karena dah lama punya situs Pasadon, akhirnya saya eksperimen pake Wordpress di sana, dan bikin blog yang agak serius, rencana-nya sih bikin blog yang bahas hal-hal IT, tutorial dan sebangsanya gitu. Sukur-sukur kalo jadi bisa nulis-nulis review, dan tambah-tambah penghasilan gitu, coba dikunjungi deh, biar saya dapat masukan, kasih Comment ya.

Workshop siluet

Workshop photograpy di tanah putih, iseng2 motret pake HP trus kirim k blog, jd-nya seperti ini deh. Pembicaranya Benny Pangadian, dari Patria Surabaya. Cek website-nya buat liat karya2 yang lain.

Sebagian besar materinya diperuntukkan untuk pemula yang bener2 pemula di Fotografi, namun pendekatan yang dilakukan untuk fotografi kasual (pake kamera seadanya, tidak harus DSLR). Benny juga menunjukkan untuk menggunakan barang-barang di sekitar kita untuk memperindah hasil pemotretan.

Workshop ini seperti mengingatkan saya (yang jarang memotret ini hehehe) untuk sedapat mungkin menghindari edit gambar dalam komputer, karena prosesnya kadang lama dan melelahkan (bener juga sih).

Beberapa point ide:

1. Perhatikan komposisi, aturan 1/3, jarak antara objek dan tepi gambar.
2. Perhatikan pencahayaan, karena fotografi artinya menggambar dengan cahaya.
   
3. Gunakan benda-benda di sekitar kita untuk memperoleh beberapa efek yang 'berbeda' (dalam workshop ditunjukkan menggunakan kacamata hitam, kain putih, kertas, panci, dsb).
4. Gunakan lampu flash untuk membantu pencahayaan siang hari.
5. ISO tinggi akan memperbanyak noise, tapi memperjelas dalam kondisi cahaya minim (low-light)
   

Waters

Suddenly waters are rising at Jl. Ciliwung Raya, for the first time in my dwelling there's a thought of a flood coming. My mom suspect there's a broken dam somewhere. My greatest concern is my Piano, although i never used it for long time, still I have a wish that someday I could play it again. I heard that once flood takeover, the sound will never be the same.

Last night while having diner with my buddies rains pours endlessly, as if  god open all the water reservoir from heaven. However, I think water have been a problem in Indonesia eversince I'm small, whether it's too little or too many. I hope it will be solved in the future.

Lost Camera

A couple of months ago, I lost my camera (a Pentax optio 555) :(. Not much I can say about it because I think it already served me to the max (to the point that it already broke several times, and miraculously fixed), what I lost most is it's memory cards, because it contains some of my friend's photos. I'm not to sure that my pictures will be found someday, but ones can still have hopes can't I?

2009 ~ it's that time again

New Year... new beginning. Although this post is created almost 10 days after hehe. Anyway I want to wish you all a Happy New Year.

Recently I read a book "Your Best Life Now" by Joel Osteen, it's a good book. Have me thought to always have a positive outlook of every situation. I highly reccomend this book to anyone who wants their best life now, not later. Although this book is heavily influenced by christian teaching (well, Joel is a senior pastor at Lakewood Church, Houston, TX), I think all of us could learn at least a thing or two (actually he has 7 points) to get the best of our life. If you like this kind of book, another reccomendation is "The Magic of Thinking Big" by Dr. David J.

Windows 98 sudah gratis???

Hari ini saya sempat ngobrol dengan seseorang yang juga berkecimpung di dunia pendidikan IT. Kebetulan beliau support IT ke beberapa sekolah dasar dan sekolah menengah. Saya sempat tanyakan untuk sekolah-sekolah itu pakai OS apa? Dijawab windows, beberapa windows 98. Tetapi yang membuat saya terkejut adalah pernyataannya "Windows 98 kan sudah gratis". Heu... sejauh yang saya tahu Microsoft tidak pernah (dan saya yakin tidak akan pernah) menggratiskan OS bikinannya yang manapun, bahkan MS-DOS jaman bahuela sekalipun. Pernyataan selanjutnya yang membingungkan adalah "Sekolah-sekolah tidak dirazia, karena non-profit" hmm... lagi2 pernyataan sendiri (dan saya sudah dengar lebih dari 1 orang yang memberi pernyataan ini~bukan pernyataan resmi dari Microsoft tentu). Setahu saya, ini hanya mungkin jika ada Campus atau Corporate agreement. "Kasihan kalau sampai dirazia, pendidikan komputer bisa berhenti" Hmm... kalau saya pribadi justru berpikir sejauh mana kita akan terus bergantung pada produk yang propiertary. Kemudian, apakah benar pendidikan komputer akan berhenti tanpa software dari microsoft?

Kadang saya kecewa dengan pemerintah Indonesia yang nota bene hanya separuh-separuh mendukung antara solusi open source dan propiertary. Baru beberapa waktu yang lalu saya dengar kesepakatan 3 menteri tentang IGOS, namun sampai sekarang yang saya tahu hanya jajaran departemen ristek saja yang kelihatan memakai dan (berusaha) memasarkannya. Kebanyakan departemen lain sepertinya mengharapkan "belas kasih" perusahaan bersangkutan untuk memberi gratisan atau pemutihan lisensi.

OK, masih dalam lingkungan sekolah, saya sebenarnya tidak anti untuk memakai windows ataupun produk proprietary lainnya. Yang jadi masalah adalah dengan pembiaran menggunakan program bajakan. Karena lebih 'mudah' untuk mendapatkan copy produk ilegal tersebut (di sini kita tinggal pergi ke mal terdekat). Namun hal ini berdampak ganda, kita memiliki ketergantungan besar terhadap produk tersebut, sekaligus iklan (yang salah) bahwa pembajakan itu sah-sah saja kalau di lingkungan sekolah.

Laskar Pelangi (Rainbow Warriors)

Just back from watching "laskar pelangi" (rainbow warriors). The story is about a bunch (+/- 10) kids in rural area of Belitung/Belitong, an island in Indonesia, famous for it's tin mine. The story sets back in 70s. This is a must see for every indonesian. It's a very good movie, it has almost everything needed, it got lessons without feel teached, fun without slapsticks, some moments of happiness, some moment of grief and loss, even puppy love :). I won't spoil the story here. What interest me is also the audience, who keeps coming back, it's been shown in theatres for almost a month now, and the ticket is still sold out. Today I have to sit on the second row of the seats (yeah, it's suck, but the movie is way too good to complain just for the seat). Also I listened to some comments made by some kids around, their curiousity about habit of that era. I heard someone ask "what is "teplok"? (local says refferring to oil lamp). Also I read somewhere else that someone asking about why the batteries are exposed to the sun (somehow this ellongated battery life, however don't do this because now we know that used battery are dangerously poisonous, and not to be re-used). Of course this movie is not without flaw, i could feel the cut here and there, perhaps it'll be explained better in the book. However for someone who never read the book (shame on me, normally I'll finish the book if possible) I think the flaw is still negligible. I hope in the future this will be a new production standard in Indonesian movies. One special fact I learn from this movie is all the children main characters (10+2) are native from belitong island, and have no prior experience in acting, which I think it's a huge plus. Go and see this movie, you won't regret it.

ZTE C321 Review

Recently I reviewed Nexian FP333. Since my dad decide that he need a new phone, he asked me to go and buy ZTE C321 for longer battery life. However it turns out that he liked my Nexian better and decide to swap mine. OK, now the review.
For some unknown reason, this mobile phone cost more than Nexian FP333 now, even IDR 5000 more expensive compared to FP303. I got it for IDR 225.000.  Oh, they also offered a new model, Haier C6000 for IDR 240.000. Because I cannot see (yet) the advantage of Haier, I still choose ZTE, as asked. This phone also use standard USB port to charge (albeit smaller), similar to the port from my Optio 555 cable. Unfortunatelly, unlike Nexian's this phone could not use it as a data cable. After some searching in the internet, it seemed that the pin is propiertary (they switched the RX/TX, need to learn about this issue further). So, the possibility to use this phone as a modem is a little bit further away (I managed to do so with Nexian).
OK, for the built in feature, this phone could be configured to be less flexi-oriented (the turn on tone, ring tone, turn off tone, all could be configured to different tune). It doesn't include speakerphone :(, but include a record function (who knows, might be come handy some other time). Also include 2 games, a breakout style and sokoban (well, both are definitely more fun than Nexian's Kong Ming).
The organizer function is adequate, with up to 500 names, 3 phone number each (that's it, no address, no e-mail, no website URL). Scheduler, alarm clock, calculator, stop watch. To my delight the calculator function is similar to nexian, designed to be simpler compared to Nokia or Soner phone.
Texting with this device is nice, better grip and the keypad is nice to press. Oh, another note, the font is thinner compared to Nexian, one of the reason why my dad dislike it.
In conclusion, this phone is on par with Nexian FP 333 / FP 303. However, featurewise I think Nexian offer a more useful address book, and a speakerphone, while ZTE C321 offer call recording, better texting and more fun games. Therefore, ZTE C321 is more hybrid entertainment and communication tool, while Nexian is a better organizational and communication tool.

Nexian FP333 review

[gallery]Yesterday I got an offer from Telkom, for a colour flexi phone for only IDR 165.000 which normally they offer for IDR 291.000. Initially I didn't take much notice, however at the end of the day I decide to give it a try, thinking that my current CDMA is already start to  showing it's age.

I went to Mal Ciputra, the queue is quite long, however I don't need to stand in there, they only require an ID card, or a copy.. Since I have a copy of my ID card (KTP), I decide to queue in, and take a walk around, therefore, just in case I'm not in the mood I could just walk away. I gave them my ID, around 16.00. After some walking, one tea cup and one  Rotiboy bun, I decide to go back and see, how much progress the queue. It turned out it almost my turn, so I decide to wait a little longer.

In the meantime I review the options. They're offering ZTE C321, Nexian FP333, Nexian FP303. After some blind guessing, I set my heart on Nexian, because from the flyer I've got the hint that it offer more feature such as speakerphone, scheduler, speed dialing and less gimmick. Next between FP333 and FP303, apparently FP303 is the later model, with some chrome finish to it. however my final call goes to FP333, because it's all black (yeah, silly but later I relieved with this decision).

Since the phone needs to be charged 6 hours before use, I just start to fiddle with it today. I re-examine the phone, and to my delight it use standard USB port (I think this should be standard feature for all devices) for power charger. After some research on the internet, it could also be used regular usb data cable to connect to computer. Yay. I also manage to peek on the other options (ZTE C321 and Nexian FP303) and find so little information, that's why I'm relieved that I decide to pick this model.

Further browsing to this site: http://www.mobile-files.com/forum/showthread.php?t=71104 reveal that it could be unlocked to be used with other Operator, however this is not what I want. Further research leads to http://ariefcz.blogspot.com/2008/08/adikku-dhiny-beli-handphone-flexi.html. This particular Blog has comments from Slam & Chandra that hinted that it could be used as a modem. Well, that's sounds good, since I didn't expect such feature on a phone in this price range.Unfortunatelly I haven't found the correct configuration to run under Ubuntu. I will try it some other times.

Next, the built in feature, I tried the speakerphone, it's not loud, but quite decent. It only include one game, Kong Ming which confusing, I think it's wei qi, but it's not. From the name, it must be a strategy games, however I still haven't figure it out how to play this game.

This phone also include some ring tones and wallpaper that's purely Telkom's advertisement. When you turn it on, Flexi's advertorial tone is heard. 5 of the 10 built-in wallpaper is Telkom Flexi themed, one Nexian, therfore only 4 universal wallpaper. This phone also support two language, English and Indonesian (i switched it to english now, since it's easier for me), to my surprise it also include an airplane mode (I haven't figure this out why they include this mode, tho but it still a nice addition).

The organiser function is quite nice, the contact could support vcard, up to 500 contact, with 3 phone numbers, address, email, website URL and notes. Scheduler, alarm clock, stop watch, world clock, tip calculator, calculator are pretty basic. I like the calculator function, because it's easy to use with guidance to utilise keypad to input arithmetical symbol.

Texting with this device is so so, the keypad is made of rubber and rather hard to press, the phone itself is rather slow to react. On the plus side, it seems they adopt nokia's configuration (0 as a space).

In conclusion, Nexian FP333 is somewhere below your average mobile phone, but above your regular landline phone. However, because it's price is hard to beat (IDR 165.000) therefore, it's also hard to complain. I think FP333 will never be an entertainment device or a fun organisational tool but it will be a decent communication device.

It's been a while

It's been a while since my last post on this web log. OK, I'm just lazy to do it. Anyway, a couple of weeks ago my mom went to Bandung & Jakarta. On the way back my cousin Tiara decide to pass me back my old camera (Olympus C-860L). I decide to try it today installed 4 AA batteries to it, to my surprise, it's still alive! Wow, this camera brought me lots of memories. Afterall, It already accompanied me on a tour back then in Europe. However, while operating it I felt clumsy, because not used to it. However, I felt this camera is sooo easy to learn, not much option to fiddling (only exposure, white balance, Flash and ISO options available to fiddle). Hopefully I'll start taking pictures with it for some times (at least until the batteries dry up).

Recently I read an article from lifehack.org about tracing family tree. I tried it and quite fun, my mom helped me with some information I didn't know before. Currently it's already spread out. Unfortunately I only managed to trace 4 generation above me (still incomplete). Hmmm wonder if I could complete it. the link is Geni. So far there is only 119 people in my tree :). Hope it will still grow

13 January 2008 Pan's Labyrinth

Last Night I went to a movie with my friends. Unintentionally, just
because there's an extra ticket. I knew that the movie will be good,
however it fall below my expectation. I knew that it's a fantasy
movie, just I don't expect that it's dark in theme. The story is
about a child, Ofelia, whose mother is married to a Spanish captain
during Gen. Franco's reign and eliminating the communists rebels. The
captain is cruel, and his only intention to bring Ofelia and her
mother come is because Ofelia's mom is bearing his son. Ofelia love
to read books and have a sheer imagination. One day she met a fairy,
who brings him to a Faun (Pan). The Faun told her that she's a
princess of a forgotten world, who suppose to be immortal. However,
she cannot go back to her kingdom until she prove that although her
body is changed, her soul / spirit is still the same. There's three
tasks to do before the full moon.

The first is to feed a frog who live under a dead Oak Tree with three
magic stones, to obtain a golden key. Ofelia managed to do this,
despite she has to face her mother's disappointment for not showing
in an important dinner supposed to introduce her and her mother as
the captain's new wife. She's punished to miss her dinner.

The next task is to retrieve a dagger from a baby eater. Although the
Faun already warn her not to eat the food on the table, Ofelia
tempted to eat two grapes (perhaps because she's hungry). She managed
to runaway, at the costs two of Faun's fairy.

The last task is to bring her brother to the Faun (after her mother's
death). She managed to trick the captain, and kidnap her brother (her
brother is kept in captain's room). However there's a trick here, the
Faun wants to sacrifice the baby so that Ofelia could enter the
kingdom. Ofelia refused, the captain found them and shot Ofelia. Her
blood is dripped, and Ofelia died. However because of this self-
sacrifice she's granted to enter the kingdom as a princess. *some
note here, in the real world Ofelia is shown dead in front of
Mercedes, who hum her an old lullaby. It's not clear that what happen
is real or only her imagination.

On the backdrop of her quests, she still has problems such as her
mother's pregnancy, the maid (Mercedes) and doctor's (Fierro) backing
up rebels army (lead by Mercedes' brother Pedro), later the birth of
her brother, and the death of her mother, and the rebels attack the
camp.

Time-Lapse

Recently I spring clean my room, and found the 'almost forgotten' 2000 pieces jigsaw puzzle. The picture is "the Zodiac". I decided to finish it to begin this year, and did it in 10 days (started 27 Dec, finished 5 January). Since I know that this will be done in a couple of days, I decide to experiment with Time-lapse photography. What is Time-lapse? basically take photos of on going process of something. Therefore you could see as the progress goes. Here's the result:

Sesi Pemotretan di Rawapening

Kemarin minggu ikutan KFS (Komunitas Fotografer Semarang) hunting di Rawapening, Berangkat cukup pagi, jam 03.30, kemudian ketemu dengan rekan2 di pom bensin Banyumanik. Kami tiba di lokasi (Bukit Cinta) kira-kira jam 5.00, masih sempat untuk potret sunrise, kemudian menyewa boat dan mulai potret-potret dari karamba di tengah rawa. Setelah matahari agak tinggi, kami ke tengah rawa, dan memotret nelayan (yg sudah biasa jd model neeh) menjala ikan dengan latar belakang matahari pagi. Setelah itu kami lanjut ke daerah Tuntang, kebetulan sedang ada panen, jadi dapet beberapa foto petani yang sedang panen. Beberapa hasil fotonya ada di sini:

Kemarin, waktu tukang koran atau tukang pos datang, istri saya buru2 ke
depan menemui mereka. Saya bisa dengar dia dgn semangat bilang 'Suami saya

tidur gue!"

Dua sahabat sedang asyik memancing. Mereka melakukannya tanpa bicara, hanya
sesekali meneguk bir sambil terus asyik dengan kail masing-masing.

Beberapa lama kemudian salah seorang pria itu berkata pelan, seolah-olah
kuatir akan membuat takut ikan-ikan, "Aku pikir aku ceraikan saja si Ani
istriku itu. Sudah 3 bulan lebih dia tidak mau bicara dengan aku."

Temannya kelihatan berpikir serius untuk beberapa lama, kemudian berkata, "Aku sarankan kamu pikirkan lagi rencanamu itu. Wanita semacam itu sulit didapat!"
